Try to gather samples of these items in proportionate sizes - large samples for predominate colors and smaller samples for details and accents. Always choose your siding, paint and brick in natural light.

To select the best colors for your home, view five or six shingles in natural light from a distance. This allows you to get the full impact of the blending of colors and patterns in the shingle itself. Remember, shingle color may vary due to weather conditions and time of day.
